Starlite Recovery Center
Starlite Recovery Center provides life-changing addiction treatment services. Starlite is theoldest free-standing chemical dependency treatment center in Texas, and we are proud of our accreditation by CARF as an Integrated Health Facility. We provide a full range of services to provide the skills and strategies our clients need to achieve long-term sobriety. Our Tricare licensure indicates that the United States government trusts members of the military to our care.
Twelfth Step Ministry in order to provide recovery services to a variety of people suffering with addictions. Since the early 1990’s the Twelfth Step Ministry has been providing recovery and support services to community members in North Texas. Then in December 2005 the Twelfth Step Ministry was formalized and incorporated with it’s own board of directors.
The Center for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention provides students with a confidential source of help when confronted with substance abuse or addiction issues. The office promotes activities that focus campus attention on the problems of substance abuse. Assessments, interventions, referrals, and short-term counseling as well as ongoing support for recovering students are available. The Center is located on the 2nd floor of Memorial Health Center.
At Enterhealth, we understand what you're going through. That's why Southern Methodist University (SMU)'s Center for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention (CADAP) has partnered with us to offer students and their family an opportunity for a better recovery.
Enterhealth's Recovery Support offers you three learning modules:

Early Prevention - Designed for those who are at risk or may be abusing but do not qualify as an addict. This module teaches the basics about addiction and how to start the recovery process.

Advanced Recovery - Created for those who qualify as abusers or addicts. This module teaches the coping skills necessary for long-term sobriety.

Life Care - Specifically designed for those who have recently completed treatment or who have been sober for years.
Wherever you are on the recovery continuum, we know what it's like to live with the chronic disease of addiction, along with the struggle to remain functional at college, not to mention, all other aspects of your life.
Enterhealth's Recovery Support is free and available 24/7 to all SMU students and family members involved in their recovery. It's a real solution to this real problem.
